Alhaji Solabi is an amazing young energetic and resourceful person with variety of robust experiences and diverse leadership backgrounds both in Nigeria and the United States.
He attended Baptist Boys High School Abeokuta, FCE, Osiele, Abeokuta and Ogun State University, Ago Iwoye all in Ogun state, Nigeria. In the United State, he obtained an MBA with concentration in HT from University of Phoenix, Houston Campus.
Alhaji Solabi was a teacher by profession while in Nigeria and here in the United States, he enlisted and served in the United States Military from 1998. He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy in 2007 after a fulfilling career. He currently works in the Non Profit industry with Goodwill Houston as a Senior Program Manager for the Veterans Services where he manages over three million dollar programs -$3,000,000.00.
As a former President of Lisabi Elite Association of Houston, and an ardent member of various committees of ENA, he was prepared for the task ahead. Alhaji Solabi rose to the position of Secretary General of Egba National Association in 2014. This gave him a wider understanding of how Egba National works. He served two terms as the SG under the leadership of two ENA Chairmen, Alhaji Bolaseni Ameen and Rev. Sunday Gbajobi respectively. The tutelage received under these two gentlemen positioned and prepared him for the ENA mantle of leadership.
He was voted to power by a majority of all chapters present during the May 2021 virtual Conference, and was sworn in to office as the sixth Chairman of Egba National Association, USA and Canada on Saturday September 4, 2021.
Alhaji Solabi is a devout Muslim and happily married to his college sweetheart Oluwatoyin Solabi. The union is blessed with 3 children.
